
Danielle Lawrence joined the Law Offices of Tyler Q. Dahl in 2023 as an Associate Attorney with a focus in the areas of Business Law and Non-Profit Law. Ms. Lawrence possesses a high degree of experience and expertise in advising and representing a wide variety of clients including, individuals, small businesses, and major corporations throughout California. Her representation is in a wide range of diverse business and transactional matters, with an emphasis on general corporate representation, and strategic counseling on formation, governance, ownership, and anticipation and avoidance of areas of risk. Ms. Lawrence is also experienced in advising and assisting public charities, private foundations, public benefit corporations, and other nonprofit organizations with entity formation, application for tax exempt status, compliance, maintenance, and governance.
Ms. Lawrence received her degree of Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law where she graduated with a Certificate of Distinction in Business Law subsequent to earning her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law/Political Science while attending Northern Michigan University.
Ms. Lawrence has received personal recognition from the Rotary Club of Irvine for her work with various non-profits. She has been named a “Rising Star” by Northern California Super Lawyers in 2021, 2022, and 2023, which is awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40, and she was also named as one of the Top Attorneys in Sacramento by Sacramento Magazine in 2022.
Ms. Lawrence is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association, the California Lawyers Association, the board of several non-profits, and serves as a mentor to law students by assisting the Sacramento Chapter of California Young Tax Lawyers. She also actively volunteers for non-profit organizations in the area.
In her free time, Ms. Lawrence enjoys picnics in the park with her dogs, hiking, floating down the American River, and watching movies at the Sacramento drive-in.
